    On the afternoon of May 14, Professor Lin Yonggui from the University of International Business and Economics was invited to give a lecture on “National Institute of Business Administration/Self-selected Topics and Framework Design” at Room 501 of the Multiple-Use Building at Fucheng Road Campus. Vice Dean of BTBU Business School Sun Yongbo attended the lecture and delivered a speech. Deputy Director of the Department of Marketing Wang Yong, Deputy Director of Department of Business Liu Hailong, Director of Department of Logistics Zhang Hao, teachers and graduate students attended the lecture. The lecture was chaired by Zhang Yunlai, Director of the Department of Marketing.
   

    Professor Wang first elaborated on the characteristics of a high level research/project, i.e. good topic selection, framework, data, methodology, dialogue and writing; then he showed that good research/project selection was differentiated, important, scientific, interesting and relevant. Finally, Professor Wang explained in detail the techniques of topic selection and framework. At the end of the lecture, Professor Wang had a targeted discussion with the faculty staff and postgraduate students of the Business School. He also expressed hope for them to publish more and better articles.
