Business School Invited Professor Wei Xiaojun, Associate Dean of the School of Business of MacEwan University for an Academic Exchange

On 18 September at 14:30, at the invitation of the Finance and Accounting Department of the Business School, Professor Wei Xiaojun, Associate Dean of the School of Business of MacEwan University, Alberta, conducted a lecture on case studies. The lecture was hosted by Ms. Zheng Yuhua. There were more than 60 attendees including Ms. Liu Ting, Executive Director of MPAcc Center, Mr. Zhang Jide, Ms. Wang Nan, Ms. Tan Juan, Ms. Li Zi, and postgraduate students from grade 2016 and 2017 in the lecture hall on the third floor of the Multiple-Purpose Building. The lecture was entitled “Research and Publication with Ivey Cases”.
During the lecture, the faculty and students of the Business School actively sought advice from Professor Wei, who communicated with them patiently and carefully. Case studies not only helps postgraduate students to combine theory from books with social practice but also boosts their academic accomplishments and improve their ability to solve practical problems. The faculty and students in attendance said they benefited a lot from this lecture.
