The Business School Holds 15th International Conference on Asian Financial Markets and Economic Development

    The 15th International Conference on Asian Financial Markets and Economic Development and the Financial Conference on Asian Countries and Markets hosted by the Business School was held in Beijing on November 29. The conference was jointly sponsored by Nagasaki University, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Shiga University, and University of International Business and Economics. More than 200 people attended the academic conference, including scholars and researchers from more than 30 universities at home and abroad, such as the University of Arizona and Tsinghua University, as well as some teachers, international students and graduates from the Business School and Economics School. Mao Xinshu, Dean of the Business School, presided over the opening ceremony.

    The keynote speeches and academic paper reports of this international conference contained cutting-edge and high-level research results in the fields of finance, management, and economics, providing a good foundation and platform for transnational cooperative research. This conference played an important role in improving the international image of BTBU and strengthening inter-school exchanges between China and foreign countries, inland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
