From July 2 to July 5 2019, BTBU Vice Chancellor Xie Zhihua led a team to Incheon South Korea to attend the College Forum of Hanseatic League and discussed college innovation and entrepreneurship.
The Hanseatic University League was held by the Hans University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. More than 100 experts and academics from over 20 countries and regions attended this forum. Its theme was “Cooperation, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Spirit in terms of College Education.”
Pan Wenji was the Former United Nations Secretary-General, and Ben Nelson was an explorer of modern higher education as well as the founder of Marniva. During the main forum, they gave keynote speeches on “Promoting Global Sustainable Development by Education” and “Challenges for Higher Education in the Age of Creativity and Innovation” respectively.
On invitation from Hanseatic League, Vice chancellor Xie Zhihua attended its closed meeting, and his views were recognized by participating experts. Serving as the sub-forum reviewer, Associate Professor Kuai Pengzhou shared with others the progress of BTBU Business School in terms of innovation and entrepreneurship. Experts in attendance highly acknowledged the practice of innovation at BTBU and had in-depth dialogues with Mr Xie.
Professor Wang Guoshun and Associate Professor Wang Nan and other team members of BTBU Business School also attended the closed meeting.
