Business School Holds a Seminar on Discipline Construction and Development

To accelerate the implementation of "Double First-Class" construction, optimize the structure and future direction of various disciplines and specialties, and effectively resolve the development planning issues of the school's disciplines and specialties, the Business School organized a seminar on discipline construction and development on January 20, 2024. The seminar was attended by more than 160 faculty members, including the dean, party committee secretary, and other leaders of the Business School.


Party Committee Secretary Fu Shi Lun welcomed the leaders and teachers participating in the seminar and expressed the hope that everyone would contribute to the development of the Business School in the coming year.


Vice President Qiu Yong reported on the deployment of undergraduate teaching assessment, emphasizing the need for high-quality completion of the assessment.


Dean He Yurun delivered a specific report on the construction and development planning of disciplines, stating that talent team construction is the top priority, strengthening and improving the school's informatization construction is the foundation, and grasping enrollment and employment is an important approach.


The leaders of the Business School reported on their respective key work. In the future, the school will focus on teaching cases and final assessments for undergraduate training, support the construction and innovation of teaching content and methods by faculty members, and strive to achieve international certification to attract more international talents.
