From June 3 to 4, 2017, 36 teams from Beijing and Shandong competed fiercely in the final round of the first "Yan Yuan Cup". Organized by the Ministry of Education and held in Jinan, Shandong Province, the competition was part of the Hundred Schools Hundred Questions Applied Innovation Workshop (in the field of finance and taxation). The eight MPAcc students from the Business School won the second prize in the postgraduate category, bringing honor to BTBU.
The competition was one of the main events of the "Double Innovation" practical exercise platform for university-enterprise cooperation. It was sponsored by the Planning and Construction Center of the Ministry of Education. Contestants from 197 subject groups across the country entered the final round. The competition was held in the form of a thesis defense.
Eight MPAcc students from BTBU Business School were led and guided by Professor Mao Xinshu and Associate Professor Liu Ting. The team gave their all in the mid-year competition, achieving great academic feat! From topic selection to topic proposal, research to project completion, start to finish, they never faltered in the face of any challenge. In the final round, they demonstrated their research results with their wits and unremitting efforts to great success.
