On the afternoon of April 14, 2022, the Institute of Service Industry Development and Digitalization of Business School held an online exchange activity of academic research results. Dr. Qian Si, from the Department of Human Resources Management, was invited to the conference. She gave a report on the theme “Courage to Be Rejected: How Leaders' Failure to Adopt Suggestions Affects Employees' Follow-up Suggestions”. The exchange meeting was presided by Professor Deng Chunping, Vice Dean of the Institute of Service Industry Development and Digitalization and the Director of the Department of Business Administration. More than 30 teachers and postgraduate students from the Institute and the subject of enterprise management participated.
Focusing on the research background, research ideas, and research contents, Dr. Qian Si explained the two academic research results in detail, including the psychological mechanism of unadopted employees' suggestions and the factors influencing employees' follow-up suggestions. After the sharing, she had a Q&A session with teachers and students on the relevant issues.
