On October 21, 2020, the Business School of BTBU and the e-business and Logistics School of BTBU jointly held a high-end academic lecture to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the university. Chen Xiaohong, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the Chancellor of the Hunan University of Technology and Business, made a report entitled “Blockchain Application Research and Innovative Thinking under the Integration of Information Technology”. The lecture was presided over by the Secretary of the School Committee, Huang Xiankai. More than 150 teachers and students attended the lecture.

Professor Huang Xiankai introduced Chen’s academic experience and achievements to the participants. He then welcomed Chen on behalf of all attendees.

Chen Xiaohong explained the development and necessity of blockchains and trends of the integration of blockchain and new information technologies with plain language. She also gave an introduction to the intelligent application and innovation of blockchain from the perspective of the integration of new technologies in China.

The lecture broadened the horizons of teachers and students, allowing everyone to have a clearer understanding of the cutting-edge technology and its development and application in related fields.
