On the morning of March 7, Professor Leng Mingming, Dean of the Business School of Lingnan University, and his delegation visited our school. Liu Minhua, a member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the school, met with the delegation at the Fucheng Road campus.

Liu Minhua warmly welcomed the delegation to our school. He briefly introduced the development history of the school and the cooperation between the two schools, and sincerely invited Lingnan University to join the Global Business Digital Education Alliance initiated by our school. He pointed out that our school is based on the goal positioning of a high-level research university, actively serving and participating in the construction of the "four centers" and the "two zones and three platforms", promoting the school to actively integrate into the economic and social development of the local area. The school takes internationalization as a strategic choice for future characteristic development, actively exploring cooperation and exchange with overseas universities, hoping that the cooperation between the two schools can provide a model and experience for the cooperation between domestic and foreign universities, and promote in-depth integration and win-win development in various fields of both parties through joint training of students, exchange visits of teachers and students, and scientific research cooperation.

Leng Mingming expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of our school. He introduced the history of Lingnan University, the subject settings, and the development of the school in the past two years. He said that in recent years, Lingnan University has actively promoted digital development, based on digital academia, deeply integrating traditional disciplines with digitalization, actively promoting the internationalization of postgraduate training, strengthening the introduction and exchange of high-level talents, and hopes to further promote cooperation in doctoral joint training, teacher exchange and visits, Beijing-Hong Kong scientific research project cooperation, and business international certification through this visit, to promote the common development of both parties.

Subsequently, Mao Xinshu, Dean of the Graduate School, exchanged views on high-level paper publication, teacher scientific research incentive policies, and the introduction of high-level talents; He Yurun, Dean of the Business School, conducted in-depth discussions on the international certification of business, student joint training projects, and teacher exchanges.

Lai Huishan, Senior Administrative Director of the Business School of Lingnan University, and Chen Shimin, Administrative Director, He Dongmeng, Director of the Office of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Affairs of our school, Deputy Director Cao Yan, and Li Na, Director of the International Exchange Center of the Business School, participated in the meeting.

Since our school and Lingnan University established a school-level cooperative relationship in 2022, the two schools have had close exchanges. In 2023, the two schools sent school-level delegations to visit each other and signed a school-level exchange student cooperation agreement. In 2023, our school sent two students to Lingnan University for one academic year of exchange study through the exchange program.
