On November 3, Dean He Yurun of Business School led a delegation to visit the Beijing branch of PricewaterhouseCoopers Zhongtian Accounting Firm (Special General Partnership). The team included Deputy Dean Zhang Weihua, Director of the Accounting Department Zhang Chenyu, Deputy Director of the Finance Department Li Huicong, Executive Director of the MPAcc Center Yang Kezhi, and Counselor Cheng Yu. The delegation was warmly received by Wang Song, Audit Partner-in-Charge of PwC Northern China, Huang Mingliu, Human Capital Partner-in-Charge of PwC Mainland China and Hong Kong Audit, Wu Jun, Human Resources Partner-in-Charge of PwC Northern China, Liu Yuanbo, Partner of PwC Audit and Assurance Services, and Zhang Xiaoqi, Campus Recruitment Manager of PwC Northern China.
During this visit, Dean He provided an overview of our university's history and development to PWC Zhongtian leaders. She emphasized key areas such as disciplinary construction, talent cultivation, and employment strategies while outlining a model for school-enterprise collaboration. Currently, business school is advancing digital transformation initiatives and seeks practical cooperation with enterprises through joint internship bases for undergraduate and master's programs; inviting industry experts for academic lectures; and appointing professionals as mentors to enhance guidance for master’s students—ultimately aiming to improve personnel training quality.
PWC Zhongtian partners Wang Song, Huang Mingliu, and Wu Jun shared insights into PWC's operations including audit services along with their talent development strategies. They discussed current business conditions at PWC as well as career paths available to graduates post-employment there. Recruitment plans were also addressed alongside potential avenues for future collaboration between both parties. A consensus was reached on initiating intern recruitment projects along with educational lectures promptly. The visit concluded with a tour of PWC’s office in Beijing where members from business school took a group photograph together.
PricewaterhouseCoopers Zhongtian ranks among globally recognized "Big Four" accounting firms. According to data from the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants' "2022 Comprehensive Evaluation of Top 100 Accounting Firms," it has secured its top position again—the first since this ranking began in 2003—and has maintained this rank consecutively for twenty years. This visit established significant cooperative intentions between Business School and PricewaterhouseCoopers Zhongtian's Beijing branch yielding positive outcomes. Moving forward, our college will continue fostering collaborations between academia and industry aimed at generating more internship opportunities while enhancing talent training aligned with enterprise needs thereby promoting high-quality graduate employment outcomes.
