Business school teachers won first prize in the ideological and political teaching competition for "different structures for the same course

Recently, the inaugural "Management" Heterogeneous Courses Ideological and Political Teaching Competition of the China University Financial MOOC Alliance was successfully held at Zhong Nan University of Economics and Law. This event, sponsored by the China University Financial MOOC Alliance and organized by the Educational Affairs Department of Zhong Nan University of Economics and Law in collaboration with the School of Business Administration, saw participation from educators across 30 finance and economics universities nationwide. Zhu Rong, a faculty member from our college's Department of Business Administration, served as an expert judge while Sun Xiaoran, also from our department, participated in the competition and secured first prize.

In adherence to principles ensuring impartiality among judges and participating teachers from our institution alongside cross-selection between institutions' faculty members for judging roles, 30 contestants were randomly assigned into four groups along with 24 judges. The rematch took place simultaneously across four sub-venues. According to established rules, the top two participants from each group advanced to the finals; notably, Sun Xiaoran emerged as first in her group.

Throughout this competitive process, participants showcased their innovative design concepts, teaching resources, pedagogical strategies, and educational outcomes pertaining to their respective "management" courses. Following two days of intense competition, judges awarded five first prizes alongside eleven second prizes and fourteen third prizes—Sun Xiaoran distinguished herself by winning a first prize.

This competition allowed faculty members within Business School to exemplify outstanding achievements related to our commitment towards cultivating moral integrity alongside academic excellence through a comprehensive ideological-political talent training system known as "three full education." Additionally, it facilitated valuable exchanges among educators from other financial and economic institutions which will further enhance curriculum development efforts while improving overall talent cultivation quality.
