On December 1st, He Yurun, the Dean of Business School, led a delegation to visit KPMG Huazhen Accounting Firm (Special General Partnership). The team included Shi Song, Director of the Enrollment and Employment Department; Liu Hong, Deputy Dean of Business School; Zhao Chuan, Deputy Director of the Planning and Finance Department; Zhang Weihua, Director of the Accounting Department; Zhang Chenyu, Executive Director of the MPAcc Center; and Yang Kezhi. They were warmly welcomed by KPMG China Audit Partner Zhou Shuo (Class of 2009), Audit Manager Wang Qiao (Class of 2014), Zhou Zhibin (Class of 2017), Lin Yangyang, Social Recruitment Manager for North China at KPMG, Cui Ningning, Head of School-Enterprise Cooperation in North China at KPMG, along with other leaders.
Dean He Yurun presented an overview of talent training and employment initiatives at the College to KPMG leaders while outlining a proposed model for school-enterprise collaboration. She expressed her hope that through comprehensive dialogue between academia and industry, practical cooperation could be established in various forms—such as jointly developing internship practice bases for undergraduate and master’s programs; inviting firm experts to deliver academic lectures and career planning sessions on campus; and engaging professionals as industry mentors to guide master's students—thereby continuously enhancing talent development quality.
KPMG's Audit Partner Zhou Shuo along with audit manager Wang Qiao and Zhou Zhibin conveyed their appreciation for their alma mater's role in their professional training. They provided detailed insights into graduates' career trajectories post-KPMG entry as well as current recruitment strategies alongside school-enterprise partnerships. Cui Ningning elaborated on intern selection processes and university recruitment interviews. Both parties engaged in discussions regarding potential cooperative models and implementation strategies moving forward while agreeing to initiate projects such as intern recruitment drives and a series of lectures promptly.
KPMG is recognized globally as one among the "Big Four" accounting firms. This visit has culminated in a mutual intention for collaboration between the College and KPMG. Moving ahead, the College will continue its function as a conduit for school-enterprise partnerships by creating additional internship opportunities while strengthening talent cultivation efforts aimed at meeting enterprise needs thereby promoting high-quality graduate employment outcomes.
