On May 29th, the Business School invited outstanding alumni Sun Yuan, Li Xinyi, Pang Lijia, as well as full-time teachers Zhang Xiaoyan, Gao Chen, and Yang Limei to conduct a series of career planning guidance lectures for all undergraduate students in the 2022 cohort.
Sun Yuan, currently a teacher at Beijing Vocational College of Social Management, is an alumna of the Business Administration program from the Class of 2007. She taught the students majoring in Business Administration from the Class of 2022, guiding them to understand themselves and start career planning early based on their own situations.
Li Xinyi, the Finance Department Director of Wuliangye Group, Director of Wuliangye Finance Company, and Director of Yibin Paper Industry, is a graduate of BTBU with a Master's degree in Finance Management (Class of 2009). She shared her experiences with employment and offered advice to the students: do well in every small task, seize every opportunity, and value every learning experience.
Pang Lijia, an alumna of the Accounting program from Class 031, who currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Accounting Exam Research and Development Department of China Financial Publishing and Media Group's Two Exam Center, shared her personal career development journey from her time at the university to her professional career. She summarized the important milestones in career planning and provided practical advice to the students.
In addition to inviting outstanding alumni to return to the classroom to share their experiences and guide career planning, the full-time teachers at the Business School also leveraged their professional expertise to assist students in career planning.
Ms. Zhang Xiaoyan started by introducing the employment prospects and current employment situation in the Business Administration program at the Business School.
Gao Chen, a faculty member in the Finance Department, provided a detailed overview of the career development directions in the field of finance and accounting, helping students gain a more comprehensive understanding of the industry.Yang Limei, a faculty member in the Accounting Department, delivered a lively career planning lecture covering the importance of career planning, how to conduct career planning, and career planning specifically for accounting professionals.
