[Promoting Evaluation and Construction] Organization and Management Department Holds Spring Semester Course Polishing Workshop

On March 22, the Organization and Management Department held a "Course Polishing Workshop" for the spring semester at the Fucheng Road campus. The event invited Associate Professor Zhang Zhu from the Department of Management, School of International Business, University of International Business and Economics, to share and guide on teaching competition experience. Vice President Qiu Yong of the Business School, Director Yan Huan of the Teacher Development Center, Director Zhu Rong of the Organization and Management Department, Deputy Director Yang Miao, and several young teachers from the school actively participated. The meeting was chaired by Director Zhu Rong.

Director Zhu Rong first expressed her sincere gratitude to Associate Professor Zhang Zhu for coming to the Business School for guidance and exchange. Associate Professor Zhang Zhu has won the first prize in the "Management" course of the same class and different structures of the China University of Finance and Economics MOOC Alliance, and has rich experience in teaching competitions. He is the main teacher of "Principles of Management," "Corporate Governance," "Social Science Research Methodology," and other courses, which are highly praised by students.

At the exchange meeting, Teacher Zhang Zhu, based on his many years of teaching experience, deeply discussed how to cultivate high-level teaching abilities from aspects such as teaching design, competition topics, and evaluation criteria. He shared a series of successful cases and practical competition experiences, providing many insights and references for the teachers present. He also provided detailed guidance on the teaching course topics, lecture ideas, presentation methods, and integration of ideological and political elements for each teacher, and made targeted suggestions for improvement.

The participating teachers actively participated in the discussion, pooling ideas, and had in-depth exchanges on how to improve teaching levels. Vice President Qiu Yong said that teaching competitions can "promote practice and teaching through competition," which is an opportunity for teachers to observe each other and learn from each other. The school will further strengthen support and guidance for teaching competitions, providing more training opportunities and academic exchange platforms for teachers. Young teachers have expressed that they will seriously learn from Zhang Zhu's experience and continuously improve their teaching abilities and levels.


This course polishing workshop provided a valuable learning opportunity for young teachers in the Business School. It is believed that with the joint efforts of all teachers, the teaching quality of the Business School will continue to improve, laying a solid foundation for the school to cultivate more outstanding business talents.
