On the morning of March 10, a seminar on Majors Development in Business was held by Department of Business in Business School via video conference.

Mao Xinshu, the Dean of Business School, fully acknowledged the progress made in the development of business majors. He suggested that the Business School would focus on developing business majors so as to play a leading role in their development. Sun Yongbo, Wang Nan, the Associate Deans of the Business School as well as Prof. Wang Guoshun expressed their requirements for how to develop first-class major in a down-to-earth manner. Meanwhile, teachers in Department of Business delivered their opinions on the existing problems of major development and its further development respectively.

The conference reached a consensus. Business majors will stick to the principle of “internationalization plus digitalization”, making the majors more practice-oriented and more influential in the industry while improving skills in teaching and scientific research to pursue greater progress.
