On January 12, 2017, the inauguration ceremony of the Wuqing Field Base of Innovation and Entrepreneurship was held in Tianjin.

Liu Donghai, Deputy Head of the Wuqing District, said in his speech, “On behalf of our district, I express warm welcomes and heartfelt appreciation to BTBU, the first university to establish an innovation and entrepreneurship field base in Wuqing. We will provide great support and various preferential policies to achieve an all-rounded development.

Xie Zhihua, Vice-Chancellor of BTBU, said in his speech that innovation provides constant driving force for the development of humanity. The completion of the field base reflects the innovative spirit of MBA students from BTBU Business School. He hopes they can put the project into practice and achieve success.

Wang Guoshun, Dean of BTBU Business School, awarded a plaque to Zhang Shaofeng, General Manager of the Wuqing Development Zone.

The leaders presented appointment letters to the first nine partners of MBA Workshop, among whom four were past MBA students from BTBU Business School.

The founder of MBA Workshop, He Zhiming (14, MBA at BTBU Business School), elaborated on the workshop’s origin, environment, policies, and so on. He proposed that the workshop facilitate university students' innovative undertaking, especially MBA students. Currently, 10 enterprises have already settled in the workshop.

As the representative supervisor of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Field Base, Wang Guoshun told the entrepreneurs to be the front-runners on the road of innovation and entrepreneurship. He said that the Business School will provide strong support to the MBA students, steer them in the right direction, provide intellectual support, and be a solid backing.

Relevant leaders of the Wuqing District, BTBU, Special Office of the CFYEE, NISO, BISU, BIT, and some other university representatives that made up of teachers and students also attended the event.
