On October 16, the School held a handover meeting for the Secretary of the Party Committee of Business School in the comprehensive building's conference room. The meeting was chaired by Dean He Yurun and attended by Fu Shilun, the new Secretary; Zhang Chunping, the former Secretary; Deputy Secretary Zhang Qian; Deputy Dean Wang Nan; Organizer Qi Fei; Graduate Teaching Secretary Liu Zhuo; and Zhao Jie, Youth League Committee Secretary.

President He thanked Secretary Zhang Chunping for her leadership in promoting high-quality development within Party building at the College and warmly welcomed Fu Shilun to his new role. This meeting serves as both a welcome and farewell but signifies continuity rather than separation. The College remains committed to following the school’s Party committee with a strong sense of responsibility while actively supporting digital transformation for overall growth.

The College prepared a commemorative photo collection for Zhang Chunping that captures significant moments from her tenure since joining in 2019—navigating challenges together during difficult times like pandemics—and noted achievements under their united guidance. She wished continued success under Fu Shilun's leadership alongside Dean He.

Fu Shilun expressed gratitude for this warm reception from colleagues. Through discussions before and during this meeting, he felt a deep sense of belonging. Reflecting on his grassroots experiences across various departments, he remarked that returning to Business School has given him fresh insight into "Once part of Business School, always part." He pledged to follow institutional directives while emphasizing unity and discipline—striving not only to meet expectations but also continuing Business School's legacy while envisioning its future.

Participants took turns welcoming back Fu and expressing heartfelt thanks to outgoing Secretary Zhang Chunping. Students and staff presented cards while Dean He offered flowers on behalf of all present in recognition of Zhang's dedicated service toward enhancing college excellence. Together with new leadership efforts ahead lies ambition—to establish our institution among China’s most distinguished Business School.
