​BTBU Held the First RPA Commercial Robotics Challenge

The Business School and the Youth League Committee held the first RPA Commercial Robotics Challenge jointly in response to the national digital construction and development strategy. On May 9, the final of the first RPA Commercial Robot Challenge was held in the Lecture Hall on the third floor of the main building.


Seven business experts were invited to the event including Huang Liuyi, Deloitte’s Risk Consulting Director and Rong Duo, the Vice President of Gome Retail Holdings to serve as judges. Besides the experts mentioned above, other guests such as Shi Xiaomeng, the manager of UiPath Industry-University Alliance also took part.


Students have been actively participating in the challenge since its launch in March. 506 students from 14 colleges signed up for the competition, forming 88 teams. After the preliminary competition, 10 outstanding teams were elected for the final.


In the final, the teams illustrated the application, design, realization, and innovation in their works with slides and videos. The works were related to all applications of RPA robots like smart campus, finance assistant, e-commerce retail. Judges targeted questioned the works. They also gave practical advice on further improving the works.


Sun Yuepan, the tutor for the competition, concluded the competition. She praised the students’ enthusiasm, wisdom, and hard work. She appreciated the support given by the Business School and the Youth League Committee as well as the hardworking student volunteers.


The list of winners was published as soon as the competition ended and scores tallied. The participating teachers then presented certificates to the winners and took group photos.
