Business school held the founding meeting of the Strategic Advisory Committee


        To adapt to the robust development of the digital economy in this new era, promote the establishment of world-class business institutions, and address the emerging situations, changes, and requirements arising from technological advancements, Business School Beijing Technology and Business University has initiated the formation of a 'Strategic Advisory Committee.' The inaugural meeting took place on November 25th. Key leaders including Professor Huang Xiankai, Party Secretary of the University; Professor Gong Liutang, Vice President; and former Vice President Professor Xie Zhihua attended and delivered speeches during this conference. The session was presided over by Professor He Yurun, Dean of Business School.

 


        Professor Huang Xiankai extended a warm welcome on behalf of Beijing Technology and Business University to all experts present at this foundational meeting. He emphasized that as one of the first business schools approved by central authorities post-New China’s founding, Beijing Technology and Business University remains committed to Party leadership while upholding its inherent red gene and entrepreneurial spirit. It consistently prioritizes national service alongside economic development in our capital city while steadfastly pursuing a developmental path characterized by 'strengthening business education through engineering integration with industry,' aiming for high-level research excellence in business studies along with light industry and food sectors.
        He underscored that establishing this Strategic Advisory Committee represents a significant strategic initiative aimed at fulfilling contemporary higher education demands within this new era—facilitating modernization in governance structures for business schools while promoting high-quality growth—a milestone event in their historical evolution. As an essential decision-making support entity for our institution's future trajectory, he anticipates that committee members will actively contribute strategic insights regarding institutional reforms as well as project guidance to foster transformative progress within our school. Concurrently, he hopes that under expert mentorships’ guidance we can cultivate distinctive characteristics leading towards substantial contributions toward capital economic advancement.


        During proceedings Fu Shilun introduced key developments concerning our institution's progress followed by Dean He Yurun presenting introductions for each member appointed onto our inaugural Strategic Advisory Committee where Secretary Huang Xiankai conferred letters of appointment upon them collectively comprising thirty distinguished individuals hailing from various sectors such as research organizations financial entities enterprises accounting firms etc., recognized widely across respective fields' domains . Additionally ,the unveiling ceremony marking establishment Institute Certified Public Accountants affiliated with Beijing Technology and Business university occurred jointly led by Vice president Gong Liutang alongside professor Wang Pengcheng .

        Concluding remarks were provided subsequently following exchanges made earlier led forth by professor Xie Zhihua faculty representatives professors Yang Youhong and Wang Bin also participated throughout discussions garnering considerable attention from mainstream media outlets including coverage via platforms such as China Education TV and Beijing Daily.
