Business School and UIBE Business school jointly held a symposium on "Business Education and Research in the Digital Age"

        To accelerate the training of new business talents in response to the demands of the digital age and to enhance collaboration and exchange in business education and scientific research among universities, a symposium titled "Business Education and Research in the Digital Age" was jointly organized by our Institute and International Business School at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) on November 11, 2023.
        Attendees included Chen Deqiu, Dean of UIBE's International Business School; Wang Hao, Dean of Management Department; Li Jian, Director of Blockchain Research Center at Beijing University of Technology; Li Yi, PhD Supervisor from Sydney Business School; Zhang Tingting, Deputy Director of International Business Department at China University of Political Science and Law; Tao Zhixiong, Associate Professor at UIBE’s International Business School; Xu Minya, Deputy Director for Business Statistics and Econometrics at Peking University's Guanghua School of Management as well as Vice President for Marketing Research Association among Chinese universities; along with Wang Yi from Central University of Finance and Economics’ Marketing Department. Our college was represented by Mr. He Yurun (President), Mr. Liu Yong (Director - Marketing), Mr. Chen Libin (Deputy Director), Mr. Deng Chunping (Deputy Director), Mr. Qiu Yong (Director - Business Administration), Ms. Sun Xiaoran (Secretary - Party Branch for Business Administration), Mr. Liu Hailong (Publicity Committee Member) alongside nearly 50 graduate students.
        In his address, Dean Chen Deqiu elaborated on the collaborative efforts between both institutions towards establishing advanced business administration disciplines while highlighting achievements within UIBE's International Business School regarding discipline development—congratulating all participants on this significant seminar.
        Dean He Yurun expressed gratitude towards UIBE’s support in advancing sophisticated business administration disciplines during his speech emphasizing that this symposium represents a pivotal step forward in joint disciplinary construction which will significantly contribute to enhancing business education amidst digital transformation.


        During the keynote session, panelists examined various topics including blockchain technology's influence on dual-channel supply chains, natural language thematic modeling techniques applied within international business research contexts, timing dynamics surrounding mergers & acquisitions waves as well as location selection strategies for cross-regional acquisition announcements amid public health crises—all while assessing how digital natives coupled with emerging technologies affect employee adaptability/proactivity performance metrics alongside marketing discipline transformations relevant to contemporary businesses operating digitally today. Professor Deng Chunping presented insights into our college’s national first-class major development initiatives focusing upon ideological-political leadership integration through data intelligence frameworks combined with an international perspective approach across three key dimensions: exploration practices undertaken thus far were shared comprehensively herewith too! Sub-forums led respectively by Wang Hao & Liu Yong further enriched discussions held throughout proceedings overall!\
        This conference deeply discussed the research paradigm shift, cutting-edge issues, and digital transformation of business education in the digital era, which has both academic depth and practical guidance significance. Business School of Beijing Technology and Business University and International Business School of the University of International Business and Economics have been jointly building advanced and advanced business administration disciplines. The successful holding of this conference has promoted the contact between the two disciplines, played an important role in promoting the high-quality development of business administration disciplines, and will have an important impact on the training of business talents in the new era.
