On the morning of February 22, vice-principal Xu Dandan led a team to visit The Open University of China for exchanges. Vice-principal of The Open University of China, Fan Xianrui hosted them.

Fan Xianrui introduced the scale and characteristics of schooling, digital education and international capacity building-up of The Open University of China. She pointed out that the university played an active role in promoting the digital transformation of The Open University of China since digitalization and internationalization interact on each other. Besides, itspeeded up building an oversea learning center and established the ASEAN CentreforDigital Educationand initiated the foundation of the Belt and Road Vocational Education Alliance and jointly built a community for open education around the world. Therefore, it advanced the reshaping and reform of open education. She also mentioned that Beijing Technology and Business University (BTBU) outshone concerning its subjectand professional construction, so she hoped that the two universities could share their educational resources and strengthen cooperation for coordinated development.

Xu Dandan introduced the current situation ofBTBU. As a multidisciplinary university featuring business studies, light industry and food,BTBU has promoted its subject of food to be one of the top 3 and the digital transformation of the subject of business studies with its concentration on the universities and disciplines included in the "double world-class project". The Open University of China has distinctive features of schooling with its high-level digital education, wide range of professional coverage, various forms of schooling. As the two universities are willing to cooperate with each other based on previous cooperation and enough chances, Xu hoped their cooperation could further extend to digital education, postgraduate education, continuing education and international capacity in the future.
