Business school held Huawei Huitong information session

On the evening of November 9, the Huawei Huitong 2024 Campus Job Fair featured a special lecture at Beijing Technology and Business University, held in the B News Hall of the Academic Exchange Center on Liangxiang Campus. The theme of this campus recruitment lecture was "Big Dream is Right," organized by Business School. Attendees included Zhang Qian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Business School; Yang Nankun, Head of the Experience Store Department at Huawei Terminal's Beijing Representative Office; Wang Jiaolong, Human Resources Director at Huawei Terminal's Beijing Representative Office; Zhao Xianwen, Head of Huawei Terminal’s in01 Direct Flagship Store; Wang Ganrui, Recruitment Manager for Marketing and Sales Service Management Department at Huawei Terminal; Ning Danfeng, Recruitment Manager at Huawei Terminal's Beijing Representative Office; as well as Cheng Yu and Wang Luyang from Business School counseling team.
        This lecture comprised three segments: an introduction to basic information, future development opportunities for new recruits, and a question-and-answer session.

            

An introduction to basic information


        Mr. Yang Nankun provided insights into Huawei’s historical evolution and achievements while detailing its systems and product offerings. As a leading global provider of ICT infrastructure and smart terminals, Huawei is dedicated to creating a connected world for individuals, families, and organizations alike. Despite facing challenges head-on, it has experienced significant growth with globally recognized brand value. The company primarily serves three customer categories while simultaneously pursuing multi-faceted breakthroughs within its terminal business—an area currently experiencing transformative ecological opportunities supported by HarmonyOS technology. Thanks to collective efforts from all members within Huawei, consumer loyalty has been established alongside solid foundations in intelligent networking markets such as smart vehicle updates.
Future development opportunities for new recruits
        Mr. Zhao Xianwen emphasized that students who possess enthusiasm for electronic products can collaborate effectively within teams while demonstrating personal influence are precisely what Huawei seeks—individuals characterized by meaningfulness , passion , curiosity about their work environment , resilience ,and simplicity . He then elaborated on responsibilities associated with retail management trainee positions across various departments, stores and roles. Furthermore he outlined advantages offered through these programs along with training initiatives designed specifically for aspiring candidates.

 


        A successful enterprise fosters positive workplace culture ; thus Mr. Zhao highlighted how rich store experiences contribute towards employee welfare when addressing inquiries regarding benefits derived from becoming management trainees .
A question-and-answer session
        Addressing questions raised by students concerning interview processes including training locations/timelines/assessment criteria etc., HR representatives provided clarifications before facilitating onsite resume submissions during this event .

 

 


        Additionally, in order enrich student understanding surrounding huawei products whilst stimulating curiosity, Huawei Huitong coordinated free film screenings coupled with hands-on product experience activities throughout Liangxiang campus’ living areas between noon until afternoon hours on November 9th where numerous participants engaged actively during interactions .

        Recently, business school hosted five seminars featuring companies like Hualian, Fila, and Shenzhen Branch China Construction Bank attracting over two hundred participating students overall. By organizing these events fostering dialogue between graduates’prospective employers, Business School plays pivotal role bridging gaps ensuring quality employment services available graduates seeking success!
