On the morning of February 29, 2024, the Business School convened a division trade union faculty meeting at Room 322, Teaching Building 3, Fucheng Road Campus. The meeting elected representatives to attend the university's fifth Faculty and Staff Representative Assembly and Member Assembly. Concurrently, the election for the sixth committee of the division trade union was successfully completed. The meeting was presided over by Zhang Yue, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Business School.

The meeting commenced with the solemn national anthem.

Fu Shi Lun, the Party Committee Secretary of the Business School, presented a report on the work of the division trade union and the use of trade union funds, which was unanimously approved by the faculty present.

The faculty reviewed and voted on the election methods, candidates, and supervising and counting personnel. The meeting organized the election of representatives to the university's fifth Faculty and Staff Representative Assembly and Trade Union Member Assembly. Based on democratic recommendations and extensive solicitation of opinions from faculty and members, the division trade union committee proposed preliminary candidate lists for representatives, which were submitted to the university trade union for review and approval. These were then discussed and finalized based on the majority opinion of the faculty and members before proceeding to formal elections. The election process was overseen by the Chief Supervisor, Comrade Liu Changquan.

A total of 15 representatives were elected to attend the university's Faculty and Staff Representative Assembly, with 8 also serving as trade union member representatives. Eight new members of the division trade union committee were elected. The election concluded successfully, with the elected members expressing their commitment to work together diligently to promote the high-quality development of the school and college, and to jointly write a new chapter in the new era.
